Frontier Town was a 30-minute adventure program that started airing by 1952. The show was written and directed by Paul Franklin. It had a total for 47 episodes, and was syndicated by Bruce Eells Productions, which explains why it was aired in different networks almost everyday. The story was about the quest of Chad Remington, the son of Dos Rios, Texas’ rancher who went to the city to get a law degree. Chad’s dream of being a successful city lawyer was destroyed by the murder of his father. He left the city and came back to his homestead in order to lay legal justice in the wild west.

The role of Chad Remington was first played by Jeff Chandler; however, the role was taken halfway by Reed Hadley, who used the way W.C. Fields talks in voicing the character of Chad. Other stars included were Wade Crosby who played Cherokee O'Bannon, Remington's sidekick. The show held its goodbye in 1953.
