OMG! My mom (of blessed memory) used to tell me that I loved Abbe Lane when I was about 4 years old! I kept bugging her, "When's Abbe Lane?" Apparently, I loved her TV Variety show, way back in the day! Thanks for sharing.

I first saw Abbe Lane in Ride Clear Of Diablo with Audie Murphy and Susan Cabot. Is it possible to love two women at the same time? YES Unfortunately both Susan Cabot (murdered by her son who got a three year good behaviour bond) and Murphy who died in a plane crash are both gone. Abbe Lane I think is still with us at 84 years of age.
