Hale, Arthur (birth name was Arthur Glunt) Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania; died 10/17/1971 at age 75 of cancer. Hale began his radio career when he auditioned as a pianist for WOR-New York. The program director liked his voice and hired him on the spot to be an announcer. Mutual commentator and newsman on programs newscasts called Confidentially Yours; The Richfield Reporter (1939-1947).
