Born in New York 6/24/1923; died 6/28/1989 in Lutz, Florida. He began his career in the 1930s on local New York radio stations. Quizmaster on The March of Games for CBS-Radio (1938-1941). At that time, the program said he was, "the youngest master of ceremonies in radio." Later, he worked as a disk jockey and served in various executive positions at several radio stations on the east coast. Before his death, he had been the owner of a video store in Florida.
