Kilpack, Bennett (birth name was William B. Kilpack) Born in England 2/6/1883; died 8/18/1962 of cancer in Santa Monica, California. Educated at St. John's College and Finsbury Technical College. Came to America in 1908. Trained as an electrical engineer, but unable to find work is his field, he became an actor. Shakespearean stage actor before he became a radio and movie actor. The only movie he appeared in was playing Cephus in Way Back Home (1932).
