Born in the Bronx, New York 10/10/1920; died 6/30/2004 from complications of lymphoma and pneumonia at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, New York. Married to actress (TV commercial spokesman for Crisco) Joyce Gordon (?-2004 his death). He began his acting career in church groups. He attended City College while acting for neighborhood theaters, then studied acting at the American Theater WIng. He served in the US Army during WWII entertaining troops, discharged as a staff sergeant. Grant was well known for providing English dubbed into foreign films.
