Baldwin, Bill Born in Pueblo, Colorado 11/26/1913; died 11/17/1982 of cancer in Los Angeles, California. He began his broadcasting career at KFXJ-Grand Junction, Colorado. Other stations he continued his career at include KRNT-Des Moines, Iowa; WOW-Omaha, Nebraska; WGN-Chicago; KSFO-San Francisco; KDYL-Salt Lake City; KFWB-Hollywood; KGO-San Francisco. Served during WWII as a US Navy combat reporter, received a Navy commendation for his efforts. Once was president of AFRTS, in later years he was preserved broadcasting history as a past president of Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters, and toured the country lecturing with topics of The Good Old Days of Radio and Live TV, and How Sweet It Wasn't.
