Spoiler :
Bill (William Donald Lipton) was my uncle. In addition to those programs listed above, I'm quite sure he was on "Young Dr. Malone" on radio in the 1940's and early 1950's. He married Joan in 1952, I think, I was only 6. Bill and Joan had 1 child, who now lives in Oregon. He and Joan lived in Greenwich, Ct. on Riversville Road, if I recall, and was a neighbor of Bert Parks.
Bill developed Parkinson's Disease in his 30's, which soon ended his acting career. He and Joan moved to London in the early 1960's so he could have access to the medication "L-Dopa" which was not FDA approved in the US. He lived in London for 7 years at 14 Hyde Park Square. He and Joan were separated or divorced by 1969 when at age 23 I spent the summer with him.
He moved back to the States in the early 1970's. He lived with our family in Michigan for a year or so and then moved to Oregon and lived near his son.
He was my favorite uncle, a true gentleman, very cosmopolitan, yet down to earth.
These are my recollections over the past 70 years. I'm confident that they're pretty accurate, but my memory may not be perfect.
