Roy, Bill (birth name was William Roy)
Born in Detroit, Michigan 5/24/1928; died 9/2/2003 of respiratory failure in West Palm Beach, Florida. Screen debut playing Revo as a child in Aloma of the South Seas (1941). Last movie was playing Little Hawk in Young Daniel Boone (1950).

Roy began at age three singing on radio, soon was acting on radio. Regular performer on radio programs including The Buster Brown Gang for NBC (1944-ca 1940s); and a continuing role on The Nebbs for Mutual (1945-1946). Jimmy on the NBC-Radio audition program, The Smiths Of San Fernando (1946).

After leaving acting, Roy became a pianist and songwriter. He composed the score for the 1953 Broadway musical production of Maggie, and contributed songs to the 1962 revue, New Faces of 1962. He also worked as an accompanist for numerous performers including Rosemary Clooney, Mabel Mercer and Julie Wilson. Composer for movies including Rock Island Trail (1950); The Happening (1967).
