Spoiler : Born in Chicago, Illinois 5/5/1912; died 9/25/1978 of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California. He had just left a recording studio where he completed recording a Heartbeat Theater program when he collapsed on Vine Street. Morrison graduated from Chicago's Senn High School, then attended Northwestern University and Chicago Art Institute. Morrison became a commercial artist, then for a while he was an instructor in stage makeup. Master of some 14 dialects, which made him valuable in stage productions. Morrison collaborated in founding the Players Guild at Evanston, Illinois. For two seasons he toured with the Chicago Art Theater Company. Once supplied expensive makes of automobiles to movie production houses.

Spoiler : He hoped for extensive work in Hollywood movies that didn't materialize for him, but he dubbed voices for foreign films in the 1960s and 1970s. Narrator for the 1952 movie Magia verde. Was the first radio voice heard in Guess What We Learned in School Today? (1971). The only movie Morrison appeared on screen in, was playing Majors in Black Eye (1974).

Spoiler : Morrison made his radio debut in a promotional adaptation of the film Dracula. One of at least six actors that was The First Nighter on the NBC and CBS Network Radio program (1930-1953). The Speaker (narrator) on The Light Of The World for the NBC and CBS Radio Networks (1940-1950).
