Johnson, Chic (birth name was Harold Ogden Johnson)
Born in Chicago, Illinois 3/5/1895; died 2/25/1962 of kidney failure in Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed the comedy team of Olsen and Johnson with Ole Olsen in 1914. Screen debut (with Olsen) in Oh, Sailor Behave (1930). The comedy team made their radio debut on The Rudy Vallee Fleischman program for NBC in 1932, then became regular performers on Valle's (1932-1935). The comedy team had their own CBS-Radio program (1933-1934). With Ole Olsen, produced and starred in the Broadway play, "Hellzapoppin" (1939), then appeared on screen in the 1941 movie version of the play.

The comedy team guest starred on many television programs during beginning in the late 1940's, including Fireball Fun-For-All on NBC (1949); All Star Revue for NBC (1950-1953).
