Born in Kingston, New York 1/18/1905; died 9/30/1988 (one day before his wife of fifty-five years Jean Frontai died) in Laguna Beach, California. Began his career on stage, and in vaudeville. Screen debut in Red Love (1925). Toubo Smith on the syndicated television series of 52 episodes, Soldiers of Fortune (1955). Barney Hogan on One Happy Family for NBC-TV (1961).
