Born in Huntington, West Virginia 10/26/1910; died 3/5/1988 of a heart attack. He and his brother Cecil performed on WSAZ-Huntington in the late 1920s. After graduating from Cincinnati's Conservatory of Music he moved to Chicago where he began his radio career.
