Married and divorced to Thomas Frederick Fox (1927-1929); August Wayne Johns (1929-1935); Robert Dale Butts (1937-1946); Roy Rogers (1947-1998 his death). Evans began her career as a radio singer using the name of Marion Lee on stations in Memphis; Chicago; WHAS-Louisville; WFAA-Dallas. Big band singer for bands including the Anson Weeks Orchestra. Screen debut in Orchestra Wives (1942). Last movie was Roy Rogers, King of the Cowboys 1992).
