Spoiler : Dave Willock (David Winchester Willock) Born Chicago, Illinois, August 13, 1909 Died Los Angeles (Woodland Hills), California, December 12,1990 Age 81 (stroke) Began working in entertainment as a student at the University of Wisconsin, where he met Jack Carson. They went into vaudeville together. Dave was a busy though mostly unknown actor in movies and later on television. His Tugwell character on Jack Carson’s radio show (Tugwell was Jack’s nephew) became Dave’s nickname to his dying day. Besides that program he was heard on Fibber McGee & Molly, Dave Willock/Cliff Arquette, and the Sealtest Variety Store.
