Spoiler : Born in New York City 2/26/1916. He was an announcer at WITH-Balitomore in 1942 when he became a network announcer for CBS. Announcer for the CBS-Radio soap, As The Twig Is Bent (1941-1942), which became We Love and Learn on CBS and NBC (1942-1944). Other radio shows he is credited with are Madeline Carol's Readings; The Falcon; Katie's Daughter; Molle Mystery Theater; Policewoman; Rose of My Dreams; The Strange Romance of Evelyn Winters. Host of One Man's Destiny on Mutual-Radio (1945-1946).

Spoiler : My father always wanted to be an actor, and graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, but in the radio shows mentioned above, he was the announcer.
