Spoiler : Born in Clairton, Pennsylvania 11/6/1910; died 9/21/1972 of a heart attack in Brooklyn, New York. Dickson worked in a steel mill while studying music. Recording artist on the RCA Red Seal label. The only movie he appeared in was playing a singer in Up In Arms (1944).

Spoiler : Dickson made his radio network debut as a vocalist on The Sealtest Variety Theater (The Dorothy Lamour Show) for NBC-BLUE (1936). Vocalist on radio programs including The Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy Show (The Chase And Sanborn Hour) for NBC (1939); The Blue Ribbon Town for CBS (1943-1944). Dickson was also heard on other programs including General Motors Concerts; The Kraft Music Hall; Metropolitan Auditions of the Air; The National Barndance; The Woolworth Hour. Dickson has been retired since 1961.
