Rolf, Erik (birth name was Rolf M. Yivisaker) Born in Chicago, Illinois 6/1/1911; died 5/28/1957 in San Diego County, California. Married and divorced actress to Ruth Warrick (?-?). Attended Luther College and The University of Minnesota. In 1929, he joined the staff of WDGY-Minneapolis-St Paul, where he rose to be the chief announcer, later director of the station. In 1935 he moved to New York where he was associated with several radio stations before achieving network status.
