Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada 3/27/1921; died 5/23/1991 of heart failure in Pasadena, California. Married and divorced to singer Blanche Willis (?-1950); actress Mercedes McCambridge (1950-1962). Screenwriter- director for Jigsaw (1949).

Fletcher Markle was born in 1921. Markle began his acting career in his native Canada and moved to New York City in the late 1940s. He grew into his role as producer and director on The Mutual Radio Theater alongside Elliot Lewis.
