Spoiler : Born in the Bronx, New York 11/17/1916; died 8/4/2004 of a heart disease in Santa Monica, California. Married and divorced to Maxine Stuart (?-1963); Rita Lynn (?-1996 her death). He majored in history at the University of Michigan with plans to study law, but he joined the Ann Arbor Dramatic Festival, where he appeared in a production of Macbeth, abandoning ideas of being a lawyer. After graduating, he moved to New York where he appeared on stage and in radio programs including Gangbusters. He enlisted in 1941 in the Army Air Corp, serving as a navigator and bombardier with the 20th Air Corp during WWII.
