Spoiler : Great singer, who started as a sort of jazzy type singer, but was then encouraged by Mitch Miller to let his powerful voice be heard to its best effect by singing more dynamic songs, while still doing some wonderful ballads as well. Then later on he did a western movie theme song and showed his great prowess there as well as in country tunes. This song demonstrates his power and incredible voice.

Spoiler : Laine, Frankie (birth name was Frank Paul Lo Vecchio) Born in Chicago, Illinois 3/30/1913. Died 2/6/2007 of a cardiovascular disease in a San Diego, California hospital where he was there for hip replacement surgery. Married to actress Nan Gray (1950-1993 her death). Laine began his singing career at age seventeen, performing in clubs. After a few years in music without success, he worked in a factory making tools during WWII. Recorded That's My Desire, selling over two million copies. Laine's other hits include Mule Train, recorded with Joe Kyser's band. Screen debut in When You're Smiling (1950).
