MacCormack, Franklyn (birth name was Franklin H. McCormick) Born in Waterloo, Iowa 3/8/1908; died 6/12/1971 in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Son of a stage actor. Educated at The University of Iowa. Following college he was a stage and screen actor until 1930 when he began working on radio.

On screen in The Case Of Becky (1921); Brothers (1930). He worked briefly at WIL-St Louis, then moved to Chicago working at stations WBBM and WGN.

The love of his life was named "OLIVET" who also lived in Iowa. I have some love letters in his handwriting to her. In original envelopes, postage, postmark, etc.
