Bishop Fulton J. Sheen is oftentimes referred to as the greatest communicator of the 20th Century. He certainly expressed himself clearly and in a manner that extolled the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our only Mediator, Advocate and Saviour of the World.

The Archbishop of Rochester began broadcasting on radio in 1930 on The Catholic Hour. His talks on these programs were basically typical of catechism classes but were popular, even for those who weren't Catholic. Bishop Sheen had similar success with the television version, Life is Worth Living, beginning in 1951.
