Patrick, Gail (Margaret Fitzpatrick) Born in Birmingham, Alabama 7/20/1911; died 7/6/1980 of luekemia in Holly- wood, California. Married and divorced to Erle Stanley GardAfner's literary agent Cornwall Jackson (1947-1969). Patrick was attending law school at the University Of Alabama when she and won a newspaper contest featuring a Hollywood trip. While in Hollywood signed a movie contract with Paramount Pictures making her screen debut in The Mysterious Rider (1933). Last movie was Claudia And David (1946), then retired from acting. Guest star on radio programs including The Dreft Star Playhouse for NBC (1943-1945). Executive producer of Perry Mason on CBS-TV (1957-1966), again for The New Perry Mason on CBS-TV (1973-1974).
