Spoiler : Born in Pasadena, California 10/19/1921; died 2/4/2002 of cardiac pulmonary failure, pneumonia and multiple cerebral infractions at the Morion Picture Country Home in Woodland Hills, California. Nader graduated with a degree in English from Occidental College in 1943, then he served in the U.S. Navy as a communications officer in the Pacific Theater of WWII (1943-1946). After being discharged, he studied acting at the Pasadena Playhouse (1946-1949). Screen debut in Monsoon (1952). Last movie was Beyond Atlantis (1973). Nader retired from acting in 1974 after he suffered an eye injury, and developed glaucoma. In 1978, Nader wrote a novel titled, Chrome which occupies an unusual niche in the science-fiction world for it's exploration of love between two gay robots. Nader was a close friend of actor Rock Hudson, and when Hudson died of A.I.D.S. in 1985, Hudson left the bulk of his $27-million dollar estate to be shared by Nader, and Nader's long-time companion Mark Miller. Nader and Miller were later sued by Marc Christian, a former lover of Hudson.
