Died in March of 1988 at age 68. Married and divorced to Anthony Ellis (?-?). She studied acting at the Pasadena Playhouse. Screen debut playing Belle Davitt in Dragnet (1954).

Ellis had been retired many years prior to her death, known as Georgia Puttfarkin, living in Woodland Hills, California.

Always the first "Miss Kitty" on the radio's first version of Gunsmoke written and for the most part created by John Meston. Her husband Antony Ellis was also a great talent we lost way too soon at the age of 47 from cancer.
