Spoiler : Born in East McKeesport, Pennsylvania 7/24/1907; died 9/12/1975 in Malaga, Spain. Riggs was educated at Juniata College in Pennsylvania. He began his radio career in 1925 as an announcer at KDKA-Pittsburgh.

Riggs became an NBC network announcer in 1938, and when RED and BLUE split in 1945, he stayed as an ABC announcer. Announcer for radio programs including Vic And Sade on NBC (?-?); Hop Harrigan on NBC-BLUE, ABC and Mutual (1942-1948); Ladies Be Seated for NBC-BLUE (1943-1944); My True Story on NBC and ABC (1943-1961); Ethel And Albert on ABC (1944-1950); Stairway To The Stars on ABC (1946); The Bing Crosby Show on ABC (1946-1949); The Adventures Of The Thin Man on ABC (1950); Mark Trail on ABC (1951-1952). Announcer for ABC-TV programs including Make Me Laugh (1958). Riggs retired in 1972 after spending 29 years with the ABC Radio-Television Network and moved to Malaga, Spain.
