Spoiler :
When she talks about meeting George - other men had pulled on her heart strings, but when she met George , what a jerk! LOL Wish I was alive then- she was the Queen of Comedy- everything todays comics are doing has already been done by Gracie!
Spoiler :
On the Burns and Allen Show on tv, the episodes where she is brilliant. A hypnotist "makes a mistake" which goes on for 2 shows. They are from 1958 and the funniest thing ever seen on TV ever.
Spoiler :
Loved this show as a child, there has never been anyone like Gracie Allen again, she was one of a kind. And George Burns was great too. The idea that he would go to his study/office above the garage, turn on his TV and see and hear everything that was going on in his house was a TV first. Plus he would look at the camera and talk to us like he could see us too. Great show, with a great cast.
Spoiler :
God Bless George Burns & Gracie Allen! True soul mates in comedy & in life! RIP George aka GOD & Gracie...keep them laughing up there! Missing all the late great actors & comedians that have gone home. So glad I lived in the era of greatness!
Spoiler :
Two of my favorite comedy team. She played the air head really well. George was the best straight man
I still listen to their radio show. It is still funny today
Spoiler :
She was great, she even, as part of the show, ran for President! Her song, Vote for Gracie was part of each show and she claimed that while she didn't really no how to be a President, neither did the others running. I laughed myself silly each show.
