Born in Titusville, Pennsylvania 11/28/1905; died 9/16/1997 of cancer at a hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Married to Walter Dellera (?-?). She worked her way through Curtus Institute music school selling ladies undergarments. She also studied music under Queena Mario and Mary Garden. She made her debut with the Philadelphia Grand Opera Company in 1930, the Metropolitan Opera in 1935.

Soprano featured on radio programs including The Kraft Music Hall for NBC (1933-1935); The Ford Sunday Evening Hour for CBS-Radio (1934-1942). Retired in 1947. Later years, she taught voice at Fairleigh Dickenson University, and was active as a volunteer in charity work. She last sang at a 1996 centennial tribute to the late baritone Lawrence Tibbett.
