Spoiler : Mancini, Henry (Enrico Mancini) Born in Cleveland, Ohio 4/16/1924; died 6/14/1994 of cancer at his Beverly Hills, California home. Married to vocalist Ginny O'Connor (?-?). Father of singer Felice Mancini. Studied music with Max Adkins (1938-40), then attended Juilliard (1941). Served in the Armed Forces during WWII (1942-1945). Pianist/ arranger for the post-WWII Glenn Miller orchestra headed by Tex Beneke (1945- 1947). Staff composer for Universal Pictures (1952-58). Scored over a hundred movies including his first, The Glenn Miller Story (1954). Won Academy Awards for Breakfast At Tiffany's (1962); Victor/Victoria (1982); (shared award) with lyrist Johnny Mercer for Moon River (1962); The Days Of Wine And Roses (1963). Winner of twenty Grammy awards, six Gold Records. Provided themes and original music for television programs including Peter Gunn on NBC and ABC (1958-1961); Mr. Lucky on CBS (1959-1960); Andy Williams Show (Johnny Mercer and Mancini) "Moon River" on NBC (1962-1971); Cade's County on CBS (1971-1972); The Blue Knight on CBS (1975-76); Charlie's Angels on ABC (1976-81); What's Happening on ABC (1976-1979); Hotel on ABC (1983-1988); Newhart on CBS (1982-1990); 1983 ABC miniseries The Thorn Birds.
