Born in New York City; died 4/20/2002 at age 85 in a Beverly Hills, California hospital. Married to Toni Gilbert (?-2002 his death). Merrill was an actor in silent movies at age three, by age eleven he had appeared in 58. He appears in Ripley's Believe It Or Not for his record number of movies, and for making some 487 radio broadcasts on 38 programs by the time he was 14 years old.
