Radio debut as a guest on The Ed Sullivan Show for CBS-Radio (1932). Pearl was known for his characters of Baron von Munchhausen and Peter Pfeiffer on radio with his catchpharse, "Vas you dere, Sharlie?" Regular performer on The Ziegfeld Follies Of The Air for CBS-Radio (1932).
He formed a comedy team with straightman, stooge Cliff Hall. The comedy team were featured on radio programs including Baron Munchhausen (The Jack Pearl Show) for NBC-Radio (1932-1934); The Raleigh-Kool Program for NBC-BLUE (1936-1937); Jack And Cliff for NBC (1948); summer substitute program for Fibber McGee And Molly on NBC (1951). The comedy team of Pearl and Cliff Hall were stars of The Cresta Blanca Carnival Of Music (The Carnival Of Musical Contrasts) on Mutual- Radio (1942-1943). Pearl played Peter Pfeiffer on the CBS-Radio situation comedy (1935). Pearl was Baron Munchhausen (teller of tall tales) on The Baron And The Bee for NBC-Radio (1953- 1954).
