Born in Stockdale, Ohio 11/4/1918; died 8/16/2005. Educated at Miama University of Ohio and the Ohio State University. He began his radio career in 1937 at WCOL and WBNS located in Columbus, Ohio, then joined WOR-Mutual in New York City.
