Forte, Joe (birth name was Josef Forte)
Born in England 6/14/1893; died 2/22/1967 of a heart attack in Hollywood, California. He spent his childhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He began his career in vaudeville, then movies playing an uncredited role in A Ten Minute Egg (1924); Doctor Carroll in Reefer Madness (1936). Last movie was playing a concessionaire in Roustabout (1964). He began his radio career in 1934.
