Spoiler : He was capable of playing both a straight man, and delivering witty, funny dialogue by some of cinema's greatest screenwriters. I enjoyed him in "Foreign Correspondent," "Sullivan's Travels," "The Most Dangerous Game," and "Ride the High Country." He could do a wide variety of genres, and made it all look so easy.
