Married and divorced to Ardanelle McCool Cosner (1935-1941); Sonia Henius Sorel (1945-1956); Doris Rich (1957-1971 her death); Emily Cisneros (1974-?). Father of actors David, Keith and Robert Carradine. He used the name of John Peter Richmond in his 1930 screen debut Tol'Able. He began using John Carradine as his name in 1935. Guest-star on NBC Repertory Theatre in 1949, Sure As Fate for CBS in 1950, Pantomime Quiz, Suspense (1949-1964) and The Web (1950-1957). Mr. Corday on My Friend Irma for CBS (1953-1954). Fu Manchu in the 1956 syndicated television series Dr. Fu Manchu (The Adventures Of Fu Manchu)
