John Hodiak Born Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, April 16, 1914 Died Los Angeles, California, October 19, 1955 Age 41 (coronary thrombosis) He was Abner on Li'l Abner. Educated in Pittsburgh public schools, and Northwestern University, then began his acting career. 1943 screen debut in A Stranger In Town. Last movie was The Threshold Of Space released in 1956.
