Born in Boston, Massachetts ca 1907; died 12/25/1963 from complications of a stroke he suffered a few days prior to his death. Graduated from Bishop's College School in Lennoxville, Quebec in 1926. He began his broadcasting career in 1930 at WBZ-Boston. He became a staff announcer for NBC-New York, and was awarded the 1931 radio diction medal by the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
