Patrick, John (John Goggin, or O'Gaggan)
Born in Louisville, Kentucky 5/17/1905; died 11/7/1995 of suicide in a Delray Beach, Florida adult care center. Patrick attended Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans, Luosianna and New York's Columbia University. He began career writing for radio at NBC-San Francisco, California (1933-1936). Patrick won a Tony Award and a Pulitzer Prize for adapting Vern J. Sneider's novel to the Broadway play, Teahouse Of The August Moon (1953), then adapted the play to the 1956 movie.
