Spoiler : Born in Valencia, Spain 11/28/1895; died 6/28/1980 of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California. Played piano at age seven in a theatre 2:00pm to 2:00am. Studied music in Switzerland and France. Became head of the Geneva Conservatory's piano school in 1919. Concert pianist in England (1928). Came to America, and joined the Philadelphia Orchestra under supervision of Leopold Stokowski in 1929. Conductor for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (1933). Master of many instruments. Guest star on many radio programs during the 1930's and 1940's including The Baldwin Concert; The Circle; The Kraft Music Hall; The Sunday Evening Hour; The Telephone Hour.
