Vocalist with various bands before her uncredited screen debut in Old Man Rhythm (1935). Credited screen debut in To Beat The Band (1935). Last movie was Bell, Bare and Beautiful (1963). 1937 Broadway debut in George M. Cohan's "I'd Rather Be Right." Ronald Reagan interviewed her on his show for WHO-Des Moines. Hodges advised him on his future acting career, when Reagan moved to Hollywood, Hodges introduced Reagan to her agent's boss, Bill Meiklejohn who negotiated a Warner Bros contract for Reagan. Vocalist on The Joe Penner Show for CBS-Radio (1936-1938); Honeymoon in New York for NBC-Radio (1947-1949).
