Haver, June (birth name was June Stovenour)
Born in Rock Island, Illinois 6/10/1926; died 7/4/2005 of respiratory failure at her home in Brentwood, California. Married and divorced to musician Jimmy Zito (1947-1948); actor Fred MacMurray (1954-1991 his death). Her Haver name came from her being adopted by stepfather, Bert Haver. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Screen debut in The Gang's All Here (1943). Last movie was The Girl Next Door (1953), retiring to raise her family. She was nicknamed, "the pocket Grable," after she was paired with Betty Grable in the 1945 movie, The Dolly Sisters.

This beautiful, blond, blue-eyed, singer-actress was known as "Hollywood's Sweetest Star," played the piano at age seven with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, by eleven was starring in her own local radio program. Then as a teenager, she became a vocalist with the Dick Jergens band, later with bands of Ted Fio Tito and Freddy Martin, heard on radio with those bands in the 1940s.
