Born in Livingston, Montana 12/9/1906; died 11/2/1988 of heart failure in Santa Monica, California. Brother of Wendell Niles.
Niles began his radio career in the 1920s at KJR-Seattle. By 1930, he was at KHJ-Los Angeles where his duties included acting as their drama coach. By 1933, he was chief announcer at KHJ.
Screen debut playing himself in Hollywood Hotel (1937). Last movie was playing Doctor Henry Bromley, the dentist in The Fat Man (1951).
