On screen (cameo roles as himself) in Operator 13 (1934); The Big Broadcast of 1937 (1936); Music for Millions (1944). Blacklisted in the McCarthy era, Adler moved to England where he continued his career. Oscar nomination for scoring the 1953 British movie, "Genevieve." Regular performer
