Following WWII service in the Army Air Corp., Richardson attended prelaw at Loyola University, then began acting at Chicago's Goodman Theater School. Actor on stage and screen for more than four decades. Appeared in so many roles requiring an English accent that it was widely assumed he was British. On screen in Middle Of The Night (1959); Q & A (1990). Guest star on television programs including Playhouse 90 and Studio One beginning in the early 1950's.
