Gorcey, Leo (Leo Bernard Gorcey, Jr.) Born in New York City 6/3/1919; died 6/7/1969 of a liver disease in Oakland, California. Son of actor-comedian Bernard Gorcey (the original Isaac Cohen in Abie's Irish Rose). Gorcey became a star after his portrayal of Spit in the Broadway play Dead End in 1935, then made his screen debut in the 1937 movie version of the play. Last movie was The Phynx (1969). Featured comic on The Blue Ribbon Town for CBS-Radio (1944).

A really unique voice. He could have done a lot more radio. Evidently, "Blue Ribbon Town" was the only OTR show that he appeared on.
