Spoiler :
As a young actor-theatre student at Utah State University, Leora coached me on how to play farce in the play "Charley's Aunt". She became a wonderful friend to me and later to my wife when we returned to graduate school. She was a wonderful human being and couldn't understand why we weren't Mormons. She was always supportive and my wife and I always had dinner at her home on Thursday nights. I am glad to see this list of her radio broadcasts. She told the story that she when was playing the female lead in the Broadway production of Tobacco Road for a number of years, she was also doing regular radio work. A matinee performance at the theatre was late getting out and she had a live radio show to get to. Without changing from the dirty clothes and make-up, she grabbed a cab and when she got to the studio, the doorman was not about to let this street person in the door. Fortunately her producer showed up just in time to usher her in.
