Happy Birthday to a great entertainer. I saw him as a contestant on "You bet your Life " before he really became famous. One of the few times I've seen Groucho playing his guitar....I think he sang "On the Jersey Side".

I always recall the time he was the mystery guest and Buddy Hackett was on the panel. After establishing that the guest had a connection to music, Hackett just for a joke, said, Is it Liber-ace, to rhyme with say Suit-case. Then much to Buddy's surprise John said yes it is Liberace.
