Spoiler : Jack McCaffrey (1915-?). Mother of movie producer Harriet Parsons. Parsona began her career as a reporter for the Dixon Illinois Star at age fifteen, then became a script writer/editor at Essanay Studios in Chicago.

Spoiler : Radio debut as the host of Louella Parsons in 1928. From the beginning Parsons opened her programs with, "hello again, this is Louella Parsons coming to you from Hollywood...This is my first exclusive!" Commentator on her own CBS-Radio 15 minute show sponsored by Sunkist (1931). (1934-1938) featured on the Hollywood Hotel for CBS-Radio (this variety show featured guest soloists and a twenty minute sketch of a current movie). 1941 was the Host of Hollywood Premiere on CBS-Radio (an attempt to bring back Hollywood Hotel). Commentator on a 15 minute program sponsored by Jergen's Lotion on ABC-Radio, following Walter Winchell's program nightly (1945-1951). A 1985 made for television movie starring Elizabeth Taylor and Jane Alexander, "Malice In Wonderland" was about Parsons' and Hedda Hopper's famous feud.
