On stage before her screen debut in 1924 and is mostly remembered for her role of Claudette Colbert's flapjack making cook-business partner in Imitation Of Life (1934). Regular performer on Beulah for the CBS and ABC Radio Networks (1945-1954)

She also had nice parts in What Price Hollywood and Made for Each Other. One of my mom's cousins met her back in the '40s and said she was very kind to him.
